Masterminds

Napoleon Hill introduced the concept of the Mastermind Group in his timeless classic Think And Grow Rich.  The Mastermind principle is "The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony."

Mastermind groups offer a combination of brainstorming, education, peer accountability, and support to sharpen leadership skills, which helps group members achieve success.

Most Mastermind Groups meet weekly for five to six weeks and focus on a specific book.

Register for an upcoming Mastermind Group or for a group already scheduled: $99 (books not included).  Don't see one coming up on a book/topic you like?  Get a group together and let us know, we'll get one scheduled.  We prefer a minimum of six and a maximum of 12 people for these groups.

Take a look at the books and their mastermind group descriptions below!

Put Your Dream To The Test

Do you dream big? Now you can put your dream to the test and bring it to life! What's the difference between a dreamer and someone who achieves a dream? According to best-selling author Dr. John Maxwell, the answer lies in answering ten powerful, yet straightforward, questions.

Intentional Living

We all have a longing to be significant. We want to make a contribution, to be a part of something noble and purposeful. But many people wrongly believe significance is unattainable.

The only thing you need to achieve significance is to be intentional. And to do that, all you need to do is start. You can't make an impact sitting still and doing nothing. Every major accomplishment that's ever been achieved started with a first step. Sometimes it's hard; other times it's easy; but no matter what, you have to do it if you want to get anywhere in life.

Sometimes You Win Sometimes You Learn for Teens

Any setback--a championship loss, a bad grade, a botched audition-can be seen as a step forward when teens possess the right tools to turn that loss into a gain of knowledge. Drawing on nearly fifty years of leadership experience, Dr. Maxwell provides a roadmap for becoming a true learner, someone who wins in the face of problems, failures, and losses.

The teachings from Sometimes You Win, Sometimes You Learn have been edited and adapted just for teens.

Everyone Communicates

Few Connect

Ever wonder why some people seem to move forward in their careers while you seem stuck?  Why no one seems to think your great idea will work?  Why your kids don't seem to pay attention?  Does it seem as if no one's listening to what you say?

Maybe they're not - because you aren't really connecting when you communicate.  Talk is cheap.  Everybody does it.  The question is, how can you make your words matter and influence any outcome?  How can you really connect with others.

Connecting is the ability to identify with people and relate to them in a way that increases your influence with them.

Developing The Leaders Around You

Why do some people achieve great personal success, yet never succeed in building a business or making an impact in their organization? JohnC. Maxwell knows the answer. “The greatest leadership principle that I have ever learned in over twenty-five years of leadership,” says Maxwell, “is that those closest to the leader will determine the success level of that leader.” It’s not enough for a leader to have vision, energy, drive, and conviction. If you want to see your dream come to fruition, you must learn how to develop the leaders around you. Whether you’re the leader of a non-profit organization, small business, or Fortune 500 company, Developing the Leaders Around You can help you to take others to the limits of their potential and your organization to a whole new level.

No Limits

We often treat the word capacity as if it were a natural law of limitation. Unfortunately, most of us are much more comfortable defining what we perceive as off limits rather than what's really possible. Could it be that many of us have failed to expand our potential because we have allowed what we perceive as capacity to define us? What if our limits are not really our limits?

Leadershift

Internationally recognized leadership expert John C. Maxwell teaches readers how to shift their leadership to keep innovating, improving, and influencing others in today’s fast-paced world.

Change is so rapid today that leaders must do much more than stay the course to be successful. If they aren’t nimble and ready to adapt, they won’t survive. The key is to learn how to leadershift.

Sometimes You Win Sometimes You Learn

Any setback, whether professional or personal, can be turned into a step forward when you possess the right tools to turn a loss into a gain.

Learning is not easy during down times, it takes discipline to do the right thing when something goes wrong. As John Maxwell often points out, experience isn't the best teacher--evaluated experience is.

Think and Grow Rich

Think and Grow Rich has been called the "Granddaddy of All Motivational Literature." It was the first book to boldly ask, "What makes a winner?" The man who asked and listened for the answer, Napoleon Hill, is now counted in the top ranks of the world's winners himself.

The most famous of all teachers of success spent "a fortune and the better part of a lifetime of effort" to produce the "Law of Success" philosophy that forms the basis of his books and that is so powerfully summarized in this one.
