What I'm Learning From A 12-year-old
Every day we have an opportunity to learn from those around us. Yes, even including a 12-year-old. For the past two months, I’ve been intensely working with one of the newest members of the Leadership Harbor team, 12-year old Dax. Here are a few of the things I’ve been learning and I think might help you as well.
Questions are good - One of the first things was a simple question of ‘why aren’t we?” and the result has become a brand new program for a new demographic of young people we hadn't been serving. The lesson here - ask questions...if you’re unsure or curious ask. Until we get comfortable with asking questions we will not continue to grow - either in our own journey or in the ways our team can go to the next level.
