3 Lunch N Learn opportunities with some incredible thought leaders! We have some great teaching videos that are unavailable anywhere in the public and we want to watch them with you and apply what we learn in a mastermind format.
November 8 - Malcolm Gladwell discusses the importance of diversity in groups using the 1960's Bay of Pigs/Cuban Crisis fiasco!
President Kennedy said’, “How could I have been so stupid?” He felt he failed the United States in his leadership. Did the team he put together in the brain trust fail? Malcom says, "Nope." That team was the most intellectually capable group ever supporting a president. He says it's not the quality of the group, but the composition of the group. So how do we as leaders learn from this event in history and apply it to business and non-profit boards today?
December 13 - Valorie Burton will grab your attention with her first question, " Feeling tired - burned out - overwhelmed?" Then she breaks down why we have an energy gap and a growth gap and how to bridge them. It's almost the beginning of a new year and new goals. Those goals will take a lot of energy and willpower. The gap between the energy you need and the goal you want to achieve is your Energy Gap. Valorie says, "Performance goals are great, but you need growth goals that power you to achieve them. Where do you get stuck?" How far you go is determined by how much you grow. There are 4 places in our lives where gaps develop. Let's apply Valorie's wisdom to our own lives so we can live 2025 to it's fullest!
January 10 - Chris Robinson says, "Treat all people well because you don’t know who they are, or who they know or where the next opportunity will come from." Chris is the VP of the Maxwell Leadership Team. He got to the position he is in by not being a BOSS - big Ol Stupid Sucker - but by putting other's motives ahead of his own agenda. Chris knows that when we begin to Deserve, we begin to De-serve people. The best way to add value to people is by putting action into our agendas through intentional learning. That's how we will go further faster. Let's apply Chris' methods of intentional learning to our own lives and go into 2025 with a strong plan to lead others well.
