Harbor TREKS - Lion King

Are you a fan of The Lion King? Whether it's the movie, the musical, or both, seize this mini-TREKS moment to forge a connection between values-based leadership lessons and The Lion King. As parents or guardians embrace the opportunity to extract valuable insights from the iconic tale and apply them to foster growth and unity within your family!

We can find many lessons in the experiences we encounter as a family.  The Lion King musical is coming to Omaha's Orpheum Theater (2/29/24-3/24/24).  We encourage you if you can to grab the family and go see it.  If you're unable, make it a movie night and throw on the live-action or classic animated version of the film and get ready to explore together.  

This mini-TREKS opportunity, however, is for parents/guardians.  With three different sessions each with a family-focused topic you will learn from.  Attend those that you can or all three for the same price.  Each will include a connected teaching point/topic and an opportunity for all of us to discuss and learn from each other.  The goal is we'll each walk away with some next steps to implement in taking our family to the next level. 

• Session 1: Remember Who You Are -  Sun 2/25/24, 8 PM CDT - This session will help us look at our circle of life.  
• Session 2: Parenting Under The Stars - Sun 3/3/24, 8 PM CDT - We'll look at learning from our mistakes and how to model that same approach for our youth. 
• Session 3: It's Rough on the Savanah - Sun 3/24/24, 8 PM CDT - How do we stay focused when we're a bit frazzled?

We can hardly wait to see the Musical (again for some of us), or the movie AND to spend time growing together during this mini-TREKS!
