Be Aware: Of who you are.
When we are discipling others it is essential we are aware of who we are. How can you lead
someone else if you don’t know where you are going. We can draw great confidence from scripture such as, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:13-14 (ESV, bible.com)
While it is important to know Whose we are. We also must be AWARE of who we are. What experiences and skills did God give you? For those experiences and skills when shared with others point back to God. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 (ESV, bible.com)
