When stepping into a coaching session, I’m often told, “I’m not really sure what I want to talk

about today.” My response? “What are the 3 biggest obstacles to you or your business in the next 3 or 6 months?”
Why 3 - 6 months out?
Clarity and Prioritization: Defining the three most pressing challenges brings clarity to what truly matters. It also helps both the coach and the client prioritize efforts and resources effectively.
Strategic Planning: Once the main challenges are clear, it becomes easier to create a strategic plan to address each one with targeted actions and measurable outcomes.
Momentum and Motivation: Focusing on the biggest obstacles enables quick wins and builds momentum, motivating the client to continue pushing forward.
If you are willing to dig deep and answer questions candidly, a pattern or blind spot may be revealed that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Once the top three challenges are identified, the next step is to transform them into actions:
Define the Challenge: Clearly articulate the problem, including its scope and impact.
Explore the Root Cause: Dig deeper to understand what’s contributing to the challenge.
Create a Plan: Outline steps, resources needed, and milestones to track progress.
Set Accountability: Establish checkpoints to review progress and adjust as necessary.
Celebrate Wins: Recognize progress to maintain motivation and forward momentum.
