Right Environment: Change Depends on Your Choices

Proverbs 13:19 A fulfilled desire is sweet to the soul, but turning from evil is disgusting to fools.

Do you have problems or challenges which you can change? Or are you facing facts of life

you can’t change? In either circumstance your attitude is key. You can see a barrier, an obstacle, or a challenge to overcome. Then you can make adjustments to deal with each.

As I discussed in the Faith blog, I could have stayed at the church I had some influence. In fact, the church leadership encouraged me to stay. These are people I respect and still have relationships with today. Wise counsel can be helpful. In the end, you are responsible for your choices.

By changing my environment over time I have grown and learned how to work with the barriers I saw there. But by choosing to change churches I found an environment I could accelerate my growth and now I am not only influencing my church but many people outside of my church as well.
