Well, it’s approaching mid-month. . . . I hope you are setting yourself up for success in 2023 by looking at the possibilities, and asking yourself, What Could Be . . . ?
What do you want to see accomplished in 2023? John Maxwell wrote an excellent book called Winning with People, and in it he shared the Foxhole Principle. When preparing for battle, dig a hole big enough for a friend. We all know that we cannot predict the future; and we recognize that bad things happen. Yet, so many people seem to prepare for the best; hope for an even better tomorrow; and then cry and complain when real life happens. It’s really heart-warming that when catastrophes do hit, there is often an outpouring of support to help. In fact, it is even more incredible when others dig in to help us prepare against those situations, when we have a little warning.
The question I must ask myself: Am I a friend that others depend on during difficult times?
