Galatians 6:4-5 Each one should test their own actions then they can take pride in
themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load.
Now that you've taken the step of acknowledging your limitations, pinpointing areas for personal growth, and seeking the necessary support to facilitate that growth, it's time to reflect on the effectiveness of your actions. In military terms, this is often referred to as an After Action Review.
After action reviews serve a valuable purpose in ensuring that the decisions we make contribute to our personal development. Here are some guiding questions that can assist you during this review process:
Is my personal "lid" lifted high enough to facilitate the changes I need to make?
What steps can I take to further raise my lid and expand my capabilities?
What aspects of the growth process did I find enjoyable?
What challenges did I encounter during this period of growth?
In what ways have I adapted or altered my approach?
Hopefully, your after action review will reveal the progress and growth you were aiming for. However, if it hasn't, don't be discouraged. Simply recommence the process of acknowledging your limitations, identifying areas for growth, and seeking the necessary assistance to support your development.
Remember, growth is a journey, and each step forward, no matter how small, contributes to your overall progress.
Being Average is a Belief System, it’s not worth living there.
