Raise the Level of your Lid: Cultivating Change

Whoever he instruction is on the path to life, but he rejects reproof leads others astray.

Proverbs 10:17 (ESV)

Once you've acknowledged your limitations (see Faith Lane 1, March 7th) and identified areas for improvement, it's essential to determine what skills or habits need adjustment to elevate your potential. Chances are, you'll require assistance from others. At the very least, having someone to brainstorm with can be invaluable. In many cases, you may need to acquire new skills or cultivate different habits.

Research demonstrates that seeking support from others significantly accelerates growth, making the process easier and more efficient than going it alone.

Attempting to master something solo often leads to frustration and demotivation. Are frustration and demotivation conducive to enhancing your potential? They certainly don't seem like ingredients for success. If you're committed to raising the level of your lid, harnessing the expertise of others can be a game-changer.
